Celery Sticks

Today the 7th of February Room 28 children helped tidy up the Rosebank School Garden.  We were all so happy to be out and about pulling out all the over grown plants and weeds. Some of the children helped Sifa and Mrs Singh pull out all the celery and others helped by separating the celery sticks.  We took the celery back to class, and washed each individual sticks.  Another group of children cut the sticks in bite size lengths for the whole of Rosebank children to try.  Then we delivered the celery sticks to all the classes.  It was funny watching some of the children eat.  Room 28 children noticed that so many children have never tried celery before and most didn't like to taste  of celery.  Some teachers had  rubbish bins nearby for the children who suddenly got up and run for the nearest door.
