Room 28 is learning about animal adaptations. An adaption is a body part or behaviour that
helps a living thing survive in its environment. Students research animal adaptation of a
specific animal and used Google Presentation to create a presentation to share
with others. Here are the animal adaption presentations
that we have just completed.
Our goal
was to combine what we have learnt about habitats, landforms, nonfiction reading
and research to put these presentations together. Be prepared to learn a lot about animals and
how they adapt to their environments.
Click on the students names below to check out their presentations. This is a working presentation at the moment as some have not completed their set task.

Rugby league
This morning we played tag to warm up. We all came out with our
warm jackets on and after tag game all jackets came off.
We are now working on our foot techniques.
We had to run out passing the ball and side shuffle at the same time with
our partners. Next we had to run straight at an angle, side shuffle to
the right than pass the ball. That was a good work out for us.
We learnt that we had to communicate as a team
to work together. P.s every time we lost the challenge our group had to
do seven push-ups.

Guess how many...
Cubes … sit here in the tub?
There are 10, 50, or may be 100? If you know it, you can
place guess. Click on the ‘comments’
button and then write how may cubes there are, according to you. Remember your first names only. Anyone may guess, even mums and dads can
participate. All children and teachers from Rosebank are invited to take a guess. There might be even a prize for the right guess.
