A day with Prince William and Kate

Imagine meeting Prince William and Kate. Imagine eating lunch with them.
I have written two tasks below. You can do both or just one.
1. Write a diary about having lunch with Prince William and Kate.

2. Write a lunch menu for the couple.  Include a starter, main course, sides and desserts.

You have till 11 April to complete either one of the task.

WALT: Write an explanation to give directions.
Success Criteria: To explain how to get to school, so the reader can follow the directions.

How to get to school from my house every morning

Walking to school is a routine for me.  Back and forth 5 days a week. I am the only child that walks by myself.  The directions are easy and simple.   Firstly I walk down my drive way shaped like a hill.  It takes about 15 seconds.  Then I turn left and keep walking straight.  You keep on going straight.  This is the time when you walk on the concrete and it turns to a curve, keep on waking. When you get to the end of Holly Street, turn left and you will arrive at the Eastdale Reserve. You walk on the concrete leading got the school. The field is right there and that’s my school

My house is not far from school so I walk every day.  I come out of my drive way and turn left and go straight past the dairy then past the take way shop then I come up to the crossing that goes straight .
I wait less than 2 minutes then I come up to the crossing that turns left to Eastdale Reserve then I walk straight to school.

I walk to school every day.  I sometimes may walk with my friends.  It takes me approximately three minutes to get to school.  Here are my directions to get to school. First of all you go out of my terribly long driveway. Then turn right, walk straight for about two minutes. Then you should reach the intersection of Rosebank School. Cross the intersection and then turn right into Rosebank School.

Every day I walk to school. I mostly walk to school with my sister.  It takes us at least 10 minutes to walk from home to school.  These are the directions from my house to school. You go out the driveway of my house turn left and start walking straight until you get to the road.  Than cross the road and keep walking straight until you get out of Orchard Street. Later when you’re out of Orchard Street this time turn right and keep walking straight. Finally on your way on the left side there is a Rosebank school sign and also Rosebank School road patrol students on the traffic light.

Every single day I walk to school by myself. It takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to get to school. First I go out the gate of my house then turn right and keep walking until you get to the corner of the street.  Then I turn right again and keep going until you pass in front of collage. So when you pass collage you keep walking until you stop in front of Rosebank dairy on the other side of the road .Then you turn right keep going straight until you reach Rosebank School crossing lights. But before you reach Rosebank School you have to go past the bus stop then you’re finally there.

First I go right then I go straight then I turn right again and then go straight again then go straight past the ally way. The ally way is kind of long but I don’t think it’s that long. Firstly you walk down the drive way then you turn right onto the foot path.  Now you walk straight up the road. Before you reach the 3rd speed bump you cross the road onto Eastdale Reserve and walk across Eastdale Reserve until you reach Rosebank school.

Every day I go to school in a car because I wake up late.  The directions from my house to school is that you need to reverse out of the drive way. Then go up the hill and then turn right and go straight. Then there will be a curve and follow it and then keep going straight until you see a dairy. Then turn right and that’s how you get to school from my house to school.
